Bill,
Talked to some people since we had lunch and yeah, it's pretty lean in Britain for what you want. I heard about Sutton Hoo, and if they can't take you on as a curse breaker, I don't see one of the other sites managing. Bit outside your areas of expertise, too, but that's irrelevant if all they've got are archivist and cataloging positions. The small digs keep the same half dozen people for decades, hard breaking in there.
Are you sure you're not willing to look outside Albion's rather circumscribed shores? You know as well as I do that they'd take you back at Luxor HQ in a heartbeat. And if you'd asked about this in early August, I could have put you on to something perfect for you at Lattara but they've hired since. But there's work out there for you if you're willing to go to it.
Let me know how far afield you're willing to go to get back into the field and I'll see what I can find.

Dear Mr Weasley,
I am pleased to inform you that lots 1, 3, 4, 4b, 6, 7 and 11a were sold in private viewing this week. We have moved the remaining lots to auction today as discussed.
There is some interest in lots 12a and 12b by a well known chef who collects historical cookbooks. He is hoping to snap them up at a lesser price at auction, but I believe he will be disappointed as the meticulous origin and curse provenance will drive interest in more than topical collectors. I have great hopes the collection will exceed your modest expectations. Meanwhile, a draft for 94Gal has been deposited in your account for the completed transactions.
Yours sincerely,
Sophie Murtaza Bloomfeld Antiquities

Professor!
Would I laugh at you? Only loudly and with great pleasure. And what can I say? Your fights with Fleur have moved into legend. Thinking of them, I still crave a good seat and a sack ofلب
? المغرب You are in colossal luck. Salim's cousin Farouq's brother-in-law's cousin Baqi has property في مراكش. For you, he says 130Gal for the week and I went to see it. Psh! 130Gal, I said to him, how could he do this for such a good friend, practically family, when the house has not been let for many months due to his own laxity? You are doing him the favour, not he you. And after much discussion he was made to see reason and offers it to you for 105Gal for the week. Which, to speak exceedingly honestly is one quarter its value, only he has no interest and thus it stands empty most of the year. Otherwise even I should not be able to find such a fine house in the city at such short notice.
Never fear, it is clean and comfortable and well appointed, and his wife if not he is a good caretaker and has seen to it the sheets are soft, the courtyard is blooming and there is a plunge pool that is as clear and blue as your fair one's eyes. Three good bedrooms, and a proper kitchen. No Elf, but you don't need a House Elf for a little week.
I include the Apparation coordinates and international floo code for the owners, ask for Baqi Amin, or better yet ask for Dima, his wife. And as for me, I know you very well and you may expect me on the Wednesday, not too early and I'll make noise at your door so you are forewarned. And see! I have not said 'I told you so' once. I consider this very forbearing.

William,
I do hope that your year has started well. I was hoping that with the start of the new year, that you might have discovered that you do feel that you need to talk to someone, and I want you to know, that if you have, that I am still here and interested in what you have to say. There is a certain malaise that can descend on one during this time of year and when dealing with difficult issues it can become immeasurably worse.
As always, I will make myself available to speak with you should you need to. Please keep that mind.

William,
I hope that your holidays were both peaceful and enjoyable. I do know that they can be a difficult time for many, however, and if you feel the need to talk, please let me once again extend the invitation to come and speak with me. With the start of a new year mere days away, please keep in mind that with the changing of the year many new opportunities arise.
Happy Holiday and a Blessed Yule!

William,
It's been quite some time since I've had to send you a reminder. I had been tentatively hopeful that journaling had become a sort of release for you. If you find that you'd rather sit down and discuss things in person, I will be able to fit you into my schedule, at your convenience, of course. I know that things aren't as flexible for professors.

William,
Are you quite sure that you're all right and don't need someone to talk to? I feel that I can understand how a professor can feel adrift and lonely during the summer months before the school year starts again. Perhaps we should meet for an hour or so to discuss this. I also understand from Madam Pomfrey that you've returned to your parents house. That must be grating to someone as independent as you are.
If the journal truly isn't working, please let me know.

it's been a while, Bill. It's the same as last time, though. The recording charm that I activated at the start of our time together is for my use in note-taking only. The recording is only audible upon specific activation by myself and is protected with a verbal recognition and magical signature charm, et cetera et cetera.
Have you had an adventurous few weeks?
