You didn't see them yesterday. It was nauseating. Oh, I'm not supposed to think that, am I? As long as she's supposed to be glowy. Not my responsibility anymore. I gave her away. But she wanted to be given away! It's supposed to be an honour.

I think the Shriekmice went over well, don't you think?

She's still your sister, you know, you don't give her away permanently. It's more like your family gets bigger! And that's always a good thing you know, family is important!

The Shriekmice were darling! I didn't know they could do Celestina Warbek. And I love the little dance they did, how did you do that?

Dancing is so much fun, isn't it? Your sister and her husband looked so graceful together. You looked very nice with your sister before, too.

You think? Bigger's ok. It's a lot better than smaller. Smaller is sort of the worst.

There was a page in the book on how to take care of them where you can train them to sing different songs. The dancing was harder, but they really like their treats! I've been working on it since Easter hols. Bill asked me if he could marry my sister on Easter and gave me the Shriekmice. Not as a bribe or anything. I don't think it was a bribe.

Do you want to? Dance, I mean? I'm not all that good, but I do know how kind of. If you want to. With me.

They're brilliant! Except I'm not allowed to breed them. I wanted to make a little chorus of them. If you give them swiss cheese they run up and down the clock singing Hickory Dickory Dock. My Uncle showed me that one.

I do! Yeah, I'm just sort of bad, but it that's all right with you, then yeah. I won't step on your toes either! I think I learned that much.

That would be so cute! Only, you have to be careful with breeding stock, it can be bad for them if you make them have too many babies too fast. It wears them out!

That makes sense. And it is! Jacek says I don't realise how hard, and I tell him that I'm glad I'm a sister then, because that's quite hard enough already! But I like taking care of the little ones.

Oh, we have sheep and cows and chickens, and a queen had the cutest little kittens just this past week in the barn! And sometimes we have rabbits, too, but not right now.

It's all right, the harder you try the more you'll do it. Really! It's just like everything else, you have to feel it!

Ooooh, babies are the sweetest! I love little ones so much, they're just so darling even when they're messy!

Not really, they're working cats, but we get to play with them so they don't become to wild. My cousins are starting a new farm soon and we need more cats for the barns and stuff. To keep down the mice, you know.

And your instructor was right! Just feel the music and move your feet where they want to go! And the rest of you, too, of course. Like everything's connected!

	Well, I haven't been around really wee babies, but little ones who can toddle are the sweetest! And newborn lambs are so sweet, I think babies must be the same, you know?
